Made for the New AQA GCSE Chemistry course to be examined Summer 2018.
Uses a demo where a 2 metre length of insulated wire is coiled up, has a current flowing through it and is submerged in freshly boiled water.
A reading is shown on an ammeter.
It is then swiftly plunged into an ice bath to show how the current increases. Even at this short length there is a decent half an amp increase on our equipment.
If you were feeling wasteful, you could use an even longer piece of wire and see a low voltage bulb dim and glow brighter.
