Lesson: P5.13 – Newton’s laws of motion (including required practical 7); to be spread over 2 one hour lessons.

4.5.6.2.2 - Newton’s Second Law
4.5.6.2.3 - Newton’s Third Law
Required practical 7 - Investigate the effect of varying the force on the acceleration of an object of constant mass, and the effect of varying the mass of an object on the acceleration produced by a constant force.

A fully resourced lesson covering Newton’s laws, including the required practical work. This was covered over two lessons to allow time to cover the require practical aspect, however could potentially take up to 3. The lesson covers both the higher and foundation tier objectives given in the specification with fully differentiated tasks and answers to cover both, to be used when teaching the new physics specification GCSE of AQA P5 (Paper 2, Topic 1).
