This lesson focuses on students ability to explain how Roosevelt started to tackle the depression.

the starter tasks asks students to consider FDR just becoming President of the USA. As a reporter meeting him at the start of his term in office, what questions would they ask him.

They then move onto the take away task. Students to choose 3 questions based on difficulty with all students expected to complete one 3 *** question. Once completed, they will engage in a trade box feedback activity, working in pairs, to add additional content to their partners work that has not been included but they feel would strengthen their answer.
