In my school we teach for MASTERY and these powerpoints reflect this method. In each powerpoint presentation, learning objectives are introduced following the mastery model. Each activity is scaffolded and support is provided to extend learning & provide another layer of support.
Following the MASTERY model also means that each lesson focuses on 1 or 2 skills (e.g. listening & writing) and students can have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge as there are INTERLEAVING opportunities embedded throughout. To reinforce learning, after introducing new content, there are always REVISION lessons to consolidate what students have recently learned.
