Another creative, arguably controversial, approach to GCSE non fiction writing. Pupils will write about their views about equality, in general, but specifically about gay rights using a range of video and audio stimuli (such as Obama's recent equality speech) . Full coverage of AO5 and AO6 skills in preparation for English Language Paper 2 Q5, requiring pupils to explore and argue their viewpoint in writing. Fully resourced, contained within the powerpoint.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Tailored to AQA spec, however, easily adaptable to new OCR, Edexcel & WJEC specifications. AO1 - 6 and the skills are universal across all exam boards. Simply adapt the exam question tags in each unit to match the placement of each AO and skill across each exam paper/question depending on the required exam board (5 minutes editing time).
