New KS3 (Acids and Alkali) - Antacids (neutralisation reactions)

This is a single lesson taken from the KS3 Explaining chemical changes SoL

The lesson is fully differentiated into Low, Mid, High and GCSE tasks and can be fully adaptable to any scale of learning (e.g. AWOL, 9-1).

Pupils will:

1. Explain what causes indigestion
2. Explain how an antacid works simply
3. Plan an investigation to determine which type of antacid is the best on the market
4. (Key skill - Identifying and discussing control variables)
