I have purchased most of the Game to Learns activities at this point in my ECT training. But I have to say this is my favourite. This is one of the best purchases I’ve made on TES. It’s a deceptively simple resource with a profound impact. Essentially, it consists of a partially filled mind map that encourages students to make connections between the provided information and what they already know. Key terms are supplied, but it can also be used without them to present a real challenge. This resource is quite challenging, and students who can navigate it comfortably demonstrate their ability to connect ideas, which supports both revision and conceptual understanding. I highly recommend it, but please note that it may require scaffolding and breaking down into smaller parts for students with lower abilities.
