This is a type up of an essay that achieved an A grade, 31/40, in the OCR Reformed A Level Religious Studies specification, Component 2: Religion and Ethics.
The essay title is:
“To what extent is Natural Law helpful when considering Euthanasia?”
This resource could be useful for both students and teachers in developing an understanding of what exam boards are looking for to achieve a top grade.
Thank you for your review. This answer was in fact awarded 31/40 in the June 2018 series of national A Level examinations but naturally a different marker may disagree. However, your score out of 30 suggests that you are being marked using the AS system which places different weightings on AO1 and AO2; therefore this exemplar would be unsuitable for being marked under a different mark scheme. I would further add that under no circumstances should this work be used as anything more than an exemplar to guide learning and structure. It should not be submitted as your own work for grading.
