I have digitally annotated every poem in this cluster for Language, Structure, Tone and Meaning. I have also included relevant context at the end of each poem.
I usually display each poem on the board so pupils can see comments rather than purely verbalising them and expecting pupils to write spoken comments down. Pupils have responded very well to this.
Obviously, you wont want to teacher-lead everything though. Intersperse with activities, questioning and (best of all) discussion.
