OCR Pilgrimage of Grace depth study IMPACT

For teaching OCR A Level Rebellion and Disorder under the Tudors 1485-1603

This is lesson 3 of the depth study for the Pilgrimage of Grace. This two hour lesson focuses on the impact of the Pilgrimage of Grace.

This lesson looks at the following for the Pilgrimage of Grace;

• How did Tudors deal with the Pilgrimage of Grace?
• The effects of the Pilgrimage of Grace on government and society
• Was the Tudor government seriously threatened by the Pilgrimage of Grace?

The lesson also gets students to consider: Did the Pilgrimage of Grace slow down the pace of religious change?
