On va jouer au foot Dynamo 3 Mod 5.6

A set of two lessons following ‘'On va jouer au foot’ Dynamo 3 Module 5.6. Students are reminded of some key time phrases to begin the lessons then go on to practice using the two future tenses. Students are reminded firstly of the near future tense by guessing what is going to happen next in some clips of a match played by the Cameroon women’s football team. Students practice their skills and are also reminded of the simple future tense through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain the grammar and a paired speaking activity. A treasure hunt style game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
