A unit of work based on the novel Once by Morris Gleitzman. The PowerPoint includes comprehension questions for each chapter, as well as different activities based around these chapters. These come with corresponding worksheets.
There is also a ‘context’ Powerpoint which has a timeline of events leading up to Hitler’s rise to power and the Holocaust. Designed as a launching point for students research.
This was designed with the New Zealand Curriculum in mind, for a Year 9 class. However, this can easily be adapted for your own use.
