Can be used for phonic small group work. Selecting specific onset and rime cards and combine to create a full word. The onset cards are in pink and the rime are in blue to distinguish the difference. When I have used these cards, I have allowed children to make 'silly words' tying in with the Phonic Awareness tests for KS1.
