Activity: running dictation. Different texts talking about opinions on school subjects. The texts include justifying opinions and comparing school subjects. Texts need to be printed, cut, stuck on different areas of the classroom wall. Students work in pairs (or teams) and have to run, memorise part of the text, come back, dictate to writer who writes the text down. They keep going until they have the whole text down on paper. Teacher checks for mistakes. if mistakes, students must be asked to keep running until they have the whole text correct.
