Original Drama Script – New Year’s Eve (A short play)
A short play about a New Year’s Eve party. Jenny is wanting to throw the best party in the neighborhood. What she can’t figure out is why none of her friends want to come.
The play is original and fun for students to either perform in front of an audience, or to read as part of guided reading / literacy circles. Each character’s part is highlighted throughout the script, so all that the teacher needs to do is print the play and it’s ready to go. As well as the script, the play has drawing/designing activity and a word search.
The play is appropriate for students in 3rd- 6th Grade and can be performed in about 7-10 minutes.
