This reading lesson is aimed at Y5 pupils but could be easily adapted for any KS2 class. The learning objective is to ‘GIve reasoned justifications for your views’ using song lyrics as a context. Included is a PowerPoint presentation which provides challenges to students and a very detailed plan which anyone could pick up and use. The lesson was rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ by the head teacher, inspectors to the school and the lesson was specifically mentioned in our report.
Definitely not worth £5, feel like I've been cheated out of my money!

I’m sorry you feel that way. This lesson was given excellent feedback from inspectors and SLT and would have been outstanding in ‘old money’ terms. TES put a recommendation of £5 considering all the resources too. Is there any way I can help further with this? I certainly would not want you to feel cheated out of your money at all. Perhaps if I haven’t explained the lesson properly then it is something I can add to the resource for future xx
