Passé Composé with Être - Revision and Exercises

It would be good for teachers who would like to recap the tense and add a little bit of practice.

For Year 7 and Year 8, this worksheet would be a good practice. (It would take more or less 40 minutes to complete depending on the level of your students)

It would be a good revision for students in Year 9. (That would take you about more or less 20 minutes to go through it)

There is a short explanation on the tense structure including the two verbs/auxiliaries “être” and “avoir”.

There are three exercises provided with correction.
The correction is provided in a different Word document so teachers can either give it as a homework including the answers or not.

I also included all the verbs that are used with être in full with their past participles and agreements.

The document does not include a topic in particular, the sentences are accessible to all students from Year 7 onwards.

I believe that students would required minimum help from their teacher. Students should be able to work independently on this worksheet.
