Phase 2 Letters and Sounds Segmenting and Blending Quick Reading Activities

This resource follows the Letters and Sounds order of teaching. Each sheet contains real and alien decodable words with a sentence or two at the end. There is one sheet for satp then one sheet for every phoneme after that. The words and sentences are in the open dyslexia font.

Students read the decodable and can add sound buttons if the wish. Alien words are indicated by a picture of an alien. Finish by reading the sentence at the end.

Set 2: i, n, m, d (1 page per sound)

Set 3: g, o, c, k (1 page per sound)

Set 4: ck, e, u, r (1 page per sound)

Set 5: h, b, f/ff, l/ll, ss (1 page per sound)

Tricky words needed for these sheets: the, he, do, is, I, we, all, there, here, she, my, was.
