Phase 3 Phonics Blending Game - Consonant Digraphs

**Teach your class to read words containing consonant digraphs with this fun pack!

Children should say the sounds as they drive their car past the clouds and then blend them together to read the word.

*Road mats with the following words are provided (one word per mat):

ch: chin, chop, such, chip, much

sh: ship, shop, shell, fish, rush

th: them, this, that, bath, thin

ng: ring, hang, song, wing, long

*Each word is also written on a car flashcard (colour copy and B&W copy). These could be used for assessment purposes or children could match them to the correct road mats.
