PHONIC MIX-UPS

Phonic Mix-Ups involves children in spotting mistakes, and correcting and editing words and texts. The sheets provide an interesting way to consolidate and practise phonic spelling skills. It is ideal for children with poor writing skills because it concentrates on the phonic words without the need for lots of writing. The phonic skills covered are cvc short vowel, double letter endings and long vowel phonemes, including alternative spellings and homophones.
