The 3 ready to use short story books are based on phonetic sounds. These sounds have been identified as challenging sounds for English language learners.
The stories are designed to teach the four skills of the language (LSRW) and grammar and vocabulary in context. The stories can be used for listening and reading activities. The students can take turns to read aloud and the teacher can play the voice-over to help the students with their pronunciation. The audio can also be used as a self-correction tool with the students. A set of questions can be made to check for understanding. It can be used while and after listening/ reading.
