A fun Pirate reading comp / mystery completed by a team of detectives.

Students read 5 different texts (pdf, doc) and work together to discover why a ship is found abandoned at sea.

Students love completing this activity in groups. Promotes teamwork, oracy and reading for meaning.

Scaffold materials mean this resource can be used by Year 5 / Year 6 or in KS3
