Resource designed for my lower set year 7 group to introduce the idea of plotting coordinates.
Aimed to convey the idea that axis are used to describe horizontal and vertical position.
Moves onto using this notion to identify coordinates in the first quadrant then plot them.
Resource includes my turn/ your turn exercise then a pirate themed find the treasure task (answer animated on power point).
