A fun whole class card activity to teach students about variation, adaptations and natural selection.

Particularly to highlight that natural selection is about selecting better adapted organisms and does not cause organisms to adapt.

Who will survive? Every student obtains one polar bear card and stands us. Different selection pressures are then encountered. Students with polar bears who don’t survive sit down. Who is the best adapted?
