This was made for a taster session I was running for Year 11 students. I wanted to make an accessible 1 hour long lesson with as much interaction as possible.
This lesson along with the activities are aimed at comparing a PM and a President as well as giving the students a sense of the complete difference between the US and UK political systems. The session went really well. I put a few UK and US flags out to get them in the spirit of things too.
There are some slides that are specific to my school but you will be able to remove them easily.

This saved my bacon, although the taster day has now been cancelled due to Corona Virus. I am new to politics and currently planning the A Level to start in Sep (I am a History teacher). This was so helpful, all I needed to change are getting rid of your school's logo and then updating a couple of slides to the 2019 election, but it gave me a really nice idea and I adapted it to suit. Thanks :)
