Positive Representation for LGBT+ People

A resource that introduces young people to a broad range of inclusive terms from the LGBT+ community and promotes discussion around the representation of LGBT+ people in the media.

As part of this activity, we encourage young people to work around their own school/ education setting and reflect on any examples of LGBT+ representation they can find. This should be an honest exercise and works best when the school/ education setting is open to improving the level of positive representation it has.

We have also provided links that can be shared with students who may wish to be signposted towards additional information or services based on the content of this session.
