A lesson teaching students about poverty. Can be taught at KS3 or GCSE level as part of a world issues scheme of work (see my other resources - https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/shop/leanaandrews) or as a stand alone lesson.
This lesson aims to teach students about what poverty is, causes of poverty, the affects it can have and if it can be eradicated. The lesson explores Christian views and Christian charities as a response to poverty. Students have to show team work skills in the lesson and emphasis is also placed on sharing views/opinions.
