A lesson I made to celebrate Pride Month at our school.
The lesson starts with a video of older women asking Trans women the most commonly Googled questions about what it is like to be a Trans women so that some of the questions students might have will be answered.
The lesson then looks at the poetry of Lee Mokobe, a Trans poet before students produce their own ‘Slam’ poem, using Mokobe’s as an example.
