Punky Pop Up Puppets Schools Workshops are delivered by Puppet Maker and Puppeteer, Marcus Clarke of Hands Up Puppets. The Puppet Making Workshops are a Design Technology challenge to varying and managed levels. Each child creates a simple moving mouth Puppet. These styles of Puppet lend themselves well to further development too as Animation or a Puppetry performance. Animated in Theatrical style Live or on a flat surface and then filmed on basic digital devices. Further Artworks can be generated by including the pupil made Puppets into painted individual environment landscapes or by joint activities into larger Hall or Reception Display.
The Design Technology Puppet Making element involves basic Wooden Spatulas, Craft Water based Glue and Craft Foam with other additional fabrics and materials, dependent on style. Stencil tracing and component cutting out with Scissors. Marcus provides all the materials and Tools necessary for up to 4 classes a day, 120 pupils which he delivers for an all inclusive daily fee.
