Qatar History and Citizenship is a compulsory subject for any primary school teacher in Qatar.
When I taught this subject in Qatar, I was surprised to discover how thin the student text book was, how little resources were available for students on the Internet and that there was no teacher guide to help teachers effectively teach this subject.
This Year 6 teaching pack contains lesson plans and additional worksheets to support 39 weekly lessons. These lessons cover all a student needs to know about the subject, and the lessons are designed to motivate and excite a student's interest in the history around them.
These worksheets could be printed out and used as workbooks in the classroom, sent home as additional homework or shared via an interactive whiteboard.

Downloaded this as I am the sole teacher for Qatari History Yr 7 8 9 , and Iv only just stepped into Doha- this being my second week from London.<br /> Overwhelmed at the pressure so when to research what is out there. Found this resource, decided to purchase just to gauge some ideas of how it could be taught. This is excellent even though I wont be using it to teach, ill be using this to steal ideas from as to how to teach secondary students Qatari History.<br /> Thank you for compiling this resource.<br /> I dont understand how you got motivation to do it so well.
