Individual quizzes cover the Treaty of Versailles, the League of Nations in the 1920s and the Manchurian Crisis, the start of the Cold War, Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis and Hungarian Uprising.
The revision quiz is organised in sections that cover the following:
Were the peace treaties of 1919–23 fair?
To what extent was the League of Nations a success?
Why had international peace collapsed by 1939?
Who was to blame for the Cold War?
How effectively did the United States contain the spread of Communism? (Korean War and Cuban Crisis)

The PowerPoints are designed so that students can answer a few questions at a time, either on paper or in discussion, individually or in pairs/ small groups. The answers are organised as pop-ups. Students can peer mark their answers. They can also use the quizzes at home as a part of their revision.

The questions are structured so that there are easier multiple choice questions at the start. For all but one quiz there are questions on Word documents as well as PowerPoints.
