I made five sets so each pupil could have more than one card. They were told to find someone with different cards and work out the order, and then that pair had to find another pair to splice both sets of results together. Finally we created the reactivity series as a class. (Warning to chemists – I had to take some artistic license with some of the figures because they weren’t available!)
