An independent worksheet designed to support children with learning how to read and write common exception words.

These 21 worksheets support the learning of the following CEWs:
no, go, so, by, my, here, there, love, come, some, one, once, ask, friend, school, put, push, pull, full, house and our.

Read it and say it gives the child the chance to read the word either silently or out loud.

Write it gives the child the chance to practice writing the word and their letter formation.

Fill the spaces use the phoneme frame style boxes to support children in getting letter sizing and position correct. This could be completed with magnetic letters instead.

Spell it gives the children the chance to use their newly acquired knowledge to write the word. The lines support children in getting all the letters.
