Regions of France - Research Activities

Do you want to broaden your pupils' knowledge of France while working on their research skills?

This resource is really easy to use in your classroom – there are 13 printable worksheets covering the different regions of France and a blank sheet if pupils wish to research the overseas departments.

Pupils can then undertake their own research (at home or in class) to find out more about a French region.

Pupils are asked to:
• find out what the French call that region
• draw and colour the regional flag
• find out the population, capital and large cities
• mark the region on the map
• provide interesting facts.

This is great way for pupils to research other cultures.
