Naturalistic observations

This lesson covers non-experimental research methods including questionnaires and naturalistic observation. The topic is introduced in a simplified manner to enable learners to easily digest core contents in small parts. In addition, past studies are discussed to reinforce learning and activity sheets are designed to check learning.
This lesson can also be pitched at AS level and BTEC level 3
The resource pack includes:
- A comprehensive lesson plan that covers 2 hours of teaching and learning.

The lesson plans are self-explanatory and easy to navigate. Learning objectives are clearly outlined and suitable assessment tools are used to check learning throughout the lesson including Q/A , activities and discussions. This topic and the entire unit is assessed via mock exam and written exam paper which will be subsequently loaded.
Contents are delivered vocally and presented visually using PowerPoint; the sequence of the slides coincide with the stages of the lesson plan. Learning objectives are also displayed on PowerPoint at the start of the lesson and can be used to check learning at the end of the lesson. PowerPoint slides show examples to consolidate learning and the exercise sheets are included with answers in PDF format. Differentiation is also incorporated into the lesson.
