Thanks Wotcha, I'm making them for all the new spec! I speak through the first run, students do nothing but watch and listen. Then they have a break where they use a different part of their brain and do not think about science. After the short break (5 minutes or so), I go through the second run. This time, students call out missing words and I continue to explain and read slides. They have another 5 minute break. The third run is very interactive, but no writing, just calling out and answering questions. I have used this technique for revision sessions after school and individual revision lessons. I would not recommend doing it so often the students get bored with the spaced learning technique. If they groan when I mention it I leave it and do something else, but most love it!

Useful resources that are bang up to date on latest spec. Am interested in finding out more how you use these resources. Do you talk through the content of every slide? How long to you spend on each slide? Do you give students a copy of version 3 to fill in the gaps? Do you get students to write missing words on whiteboards with versions 2 &3. Any advice appriciated. Thanks
