An introduction into safety in the community. Who can I ask for help when I am in the community?

This resource looks at strangers and Not strangers, and who we could ask for help from if it was needed when in the community. It also discusses who is in your handshake circle and who is in your hug circle.

This resource was designed to be used to support developing living skills for young people with special needs. It is full of visual symbols, social stories and it also has a ‘homemade’ video social stories, which I hope you enjoy. It is designed for your PDHPE program.
There is visual symbol board and a worksheet and social story about strangers to be printed. A video social story about shaking hands.
This resource would also be very useful for using in a Well Being program for younger mainstream students

Thanks. It's simple and clear and not so ridiculously full of rebus pictures that even the teacher is confused.
