Sample 1 letter challenge

This is a working sample of the full presentation by the same title.
These activities are designed for use as a starter or plenary in lower KS3 or higher KS2 English. There is also the possibility of use as providing meaningful “cover” work or as an activity for tutor time. In the full presentation there are 8 different challenges which all follow the same format. Each challenge consists of 8 questions. Students are presented with 2 descriptions, clues or hints . Both descriptions clues or hints, clues or hints towards one word vary from each other by only one letter. An example could be “Something that is eaten” answer Food and “A way to cross a river” answer Ford. The whole presentation contains 131 slides with clearly marked hyperlinks embedded throughout for ease of navigation.
