This resource is a ten page PDF document with activities to do based on the book Seed to Sky - Life in the Daintree by Pamela Freeman and Liz Anelli. This document contains eight worksheets for students.

The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are comprehension questions, vocabulary activities (adjectives, prefixes and suffixes and compound words), an index and word definitions worksheet, two research tasks (one on cassowaries and one on the Daintree Rainforest) and a postcard writing activity.

There is a double-up of one worksheet because it is provided in a version with colour pictures and also in a version with black and white pictures for teachers who may not wish to print in colour.
