Focused resource on the new form of question that requires the pupils to find the nth term and then have to say whether a number does or doesn’t appear in the sequence.

Sheet is differentiated to start with simple sequences that pupils can just state by odd/even or whether it is in the 5 times table. It is then developed to use solving equations to prove. With the final few sequences being descending.

Answers are attached and are hopefully all correct.
