Shape Fun with Hearts

Lots of ways of using this resource which links to art and design, colour, shape, pattern, matching and sorting activites as well as Valentine’s Day.

There are heart shapes of 3 different sizes, each showing a different pattern / colours.
Children can cut and match the hearts, recreate the patterns, use fabric collage to make similar patterns or draw / paint their own hearts. Children can trace around the dotted heart shapes.
Hearts can be cut and pasted onto the outline templates.

You could make a heart lotto game.

There are 3 black and white template heart sheets for you or the children to use- 1 showing small hearts, 1 with 6 hearts to a page and 1 with 2 hearts to a page.
