Shape Idioms and Sayings Game KS2

This is a fun cross - curricular game to play with your pupils.
Show the images or cut into cards. Pupils work out the idiom or saying for each image and mark these off on the answer sheets.
Great for group or pairs/team work.

There are 2 pages of idioms with 15 pictures on each page.
Alternatively cut out all the cards for pupils to match.
Differentiate with a small number of cards to start and increasing once pupils get the idea.
Pupils can research any idioms they are unfamiliar with.
Lots of speaking and listening and thinking opportunities.
