Shapes in the Alphabet

Lovely idea for shape activity - open-ended so children can use their own criteria for sorting the letter shapes.

A good resource to split the alphabet into different shapes using a simple sorting activity. The accompanying notes are quite detailed.

Hi - my interview lesson. Hey patsyt <br /> <br />I had a 20 min speaking and listening lesson for my interview with yr2 and I used a story sack of the book the gruffalo. We read through the story together and discussed the rhyming words and questioned throughout then i got the children to role play the story using finger puppets they loved it. I referred to the learning objective at the end and discussed whether we had achieved it and rewarded the children with stickers. Im currently in my second year at the school.
