This is a series of worksheets introducing the use the bar method to solve equations. I have updated these and have added sheets dealing with equations such as 3x - 9 = 10. I have also added student support sheets to help weaker students with starting to draw the diagrams. I think this is a great way to get students to move on to using the balancing method to solve equations.
