Lesson on the authority of Jesus: different understandings of Jesus’ authority, including Jesus’ authority as God’s authority, and Jesus’ authority as only human.

Starts with a key concept check and comparing a biscuit to the Trinity and then Jesus. Students to bullet point everything they already know about Jesus, and then read an article exploring the person of Jesus more. Students look at the Nicene Creed and the decision illustrated in it that Jesus was both God and man, and explore how he could be seen as both God and man. Students read and feedback on a worksheet about the terms Son of God and Son of Man, and use their textbooks to mind map Jesus as only human. Optional essay to finish.
