The topic is divided in 6 parts:
- How fast? Measuring speed: learning objectives+ lesson + basic activities to practice speed calculations.
- Speed check: learning objectives+ lesson with video about light gates + a think-pair-share activity and a mini-plenary
- Patterns of movement: learning objectives+ lesson
- Distance-time graphs: learning objectives+ lesson + 3 examples + mini-plenary
- End of unit questions: 5 representative activities for students to feel confident.
- Revision: 25 minutes of revision activities + slides to check the proper answers. It can be used as a revision or assessment
Check the slides’ notes for suggestions, answers or extra info. Coincides with Cambridge Checkpoint textbook/scheme of work, but can be used alongside any other SOW.
It includes a document with the main objectives of the unit for students to revise and use it as checklist.
