States of Matter

This product has an info-graphic on the front about states of matter, vocabulary terms related to the topic, spacing of atoms in the different states, and terms for phase changes. The backside has questions for students to work through or for the teacher to over with the class. A third page has a short research activity for students to choose one of the lesser known states of matter to research on their own. Many students tell me about what interests them in chemistry and it usually has to do with one of the many other states of matter not usually taught in schools. This activity gives them an opportunity to check these out for themselves and understand the who, what, why, when, and how of one of the other states of matter.
