Key stage 3 ~ year 7 ~ complete lesson on states of matter. In this lesson students will learn how to describe the properties of solids, liquids and gases. They will use the particle model to explain the properties of substances in each of the three states.

These slides can be used as a stand-alone or incorporated into a practical lesson. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students.

This lesson includes:
