Story Starter Inspiration Cards

10 story starter cards with example sentence starter and exciting vocabulary on the reverse. A range of different images which are based around nature, which will inspire children to create story openers.

I use this as lesson starters (both verbal and written), interventions with groups or individual children and as quick write tasks which are unmarked and get children used to stamina/exploring language.

(I trimmed the pictures, trimmed the word boxes and stuck the word box to the back of the picture to make it double sided)
