This assembly is aimed at all secondary school students (Year 7 to Sixth Form). It explores the topic of suffering and explains how pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. The assembly focuses on individuals who have shown great courage through some of the darkest and most difficult times in their lives. It looks at how strong the human mind can be and possible ways to improve our responses to difficult situations.
